Chris is a great instructor and I would reccommend him to everyone wanting to learn to drive!!!Really enjoyed my lessons, and Chris was very patient and easy to get along with. Chris is an amazing instructor. I would recommend him to everyone thinking of taking lessons. I passed my test first time at the tender age of 41! I was very nervous and really not looking forward to lessons. I can honestly say I miss them!! Chris is very patient,calm and made me laugh (a lot). Thanks Chris for giving me my independence.

Failed my test with an awful driving instructor with a different driving school. Then I swiched to Chris, and after only 6 hours I passed yesterday. Amazing! Really grateful and would recommend him to everyone. Made me feel at ease and gave me my confidence in my abillity to drive. Thanks

I have just passed my test first time with 2 minors, Chris is a legendary teacher. I enjoyed every lesson. He eases fears and makes sure you are 100% confident in what you are doing and makes you laugh along the way-i will actually miss it! Thank you Top Gear you have saved me from a life time of busses! Chris was recommended to me by a friend. He is a very patient person, and has a great sense of humour. This is useful because I very often made the same mistakes over and over again, but he never made me feel stupid, and I always enjoyed my lessons. Chris genuinely wants his pupils to do well and takes pride in their achievements. I would recommend him to anyone wanting to learn to drive.

Chris was a brilliant instructor,he really built up my confidence and was very patient, even when I kept making silly mistakes! He always encouraged me and really does want his pupils to pass. He's a genuinly nice guy and really easy to talk to, but at the same time he focuses you on your driving. I would honestly recommend him to everyone and anyone looking to learn to drive. I had so much fun learning to drive and will really miss my driving lessons!

I was referred to Chris by a friend of mine and i'm glad I was. Driving with him has been brilliant, not only do you feel comfortable but you learn everything so quickly and anything you need to work on he'll make sure you get it sorted as soon as possible. He's a great instructor and you can have a laugh with him but when it comes down to it he knows exactly what he's doing and will make sure you concentrate when it's required. I suggest him to anyone looking to pass! ;)

I started driving with some other company (that I won't name)and he was a terrible instructor,so I changed to Chris. Chris perfected my faults in quick time with very good advice, he also doesn't mess around just driving about, he'll teach you manouvres when he feels your ready. I passed first time with Chris, as he makes sure your ready, not hope that it goes well. I would recommend him and his price is very good for the quality of his training. Chris as a person is a very positive character with a good sense of humour. (Starting to sound like a dating advertisment!!)Cheers Chris.

When I started driving i was very very nervous but Chris boosted up my confidence. I passed both theory and practical second time. I would definitely recommend Chris to anyone he is brilliant, also if you like a good chat he's the one to talk to haha. So I would like to say a massive thanks to him, you have helped me so much, I don't think I could of done it without him. I will definitely be recommending him to family and friends.

Having had two horrible driving instructors before Chris,it would be an understatement to say I was a little bit nervous.But Chris didn't give up on me. He's so kind and never shouted or got frustrated with me. I passed third time but this was to do with my own nerves and nothing to do with Chris. He really encouraged me and I would honestly reccomend him to anyone wanting to learn to drive.

I felt that all my lessons with Claire were very relaxed and she is a very reliable and good instructor as she makes everything very clear and ensure's that everything is done over and over again so it's up to a suitable standard,which meant that I passed first time with only 6 minors.

I was always scared of learning to drive because I thought driving instructors were all old and scary but Chris is genuinely such a lovely guy.We always had something to chat about and he always made me feel at ease and made me believe i'm a confident driver. I started driving with another driving school but quickly realised i wasn't learning as fast as i was capable,and was constantly frustrated after every lesson,it was then i decided to join Top Gear.I gained so much confidence in my driving within weeks and went on to comfortably pass my driving test :)
My instructor was patient and always cheerful,and whats better is you learn and progress all the time!! No-one holds you back at Top Gear!!

I started to learn to drive with a well known and big driving school, I had saw there cars going around with big stickers on then and thought they would be the best school to go with. After my first five lessons i realised i was wrong as i had not actually drove anywhere with them, they were happy to sit on the side of the road and talk. i was reccommended by a friend to go to Chris and passed my test very quickly and first time :)

I had been learning to drive with another driving school,but never felt that I was making progress and was constantly frustrated with my driving skills and the process of learning to drive.

With the help of lessons from Chris I quickly went onto pass my test first time!!!

hiyaa:) just wanted to say a massive thanks to chris for helping me pass first time!!!woo:) even though was over a year ago now, am happy to say we still keep in touch and he's even given lessons to my younger sister in that time, who's just passed first time aswell a couple of weeks ago!!

We both feel experienced and confident drivers having had chris as our instructor-he really is a great instructor and is soo chatty and friendly:)

I strongly recommend him to anyone who's wanting to pass quickly and smoothly haha,just to anyone wanting a great experience in learning to drive really....anyway thanks again chris,see u on the road ha.oh and nice website by the way!x

Hi Chris,
just want 2 say thank u 4 teaching me to drive, no one else could of had the patience like you've got.
I know I was a nightmare at times,but it all paid off by passin first time!
Don''t think I would of passed first time with someone else and thats honestly.
It's been 6 months since I passed and I haven't looked back, would b lost without my little car now. I love driving and I think thats down 2 the fact that you always made our lessons enjoyable and friendly.
You were the best drivin instructor and an all round lovely person.

WHEN I STARTED DRIVING I WAS VERY NERVOUS BUT CHRIS BOOSTED UP MY CONFIDENCE BEHIND THE WHEEL AND PREPARED ME TO A GOOD STANDARD SO I COULD PASS MY TEST FIRST TIME.
I WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND HIM TO ANYONE WHO WAS IN THE SAME POSITION AS ME AS HE IS A VERY GOOD INSTRUCTOR.

I learnt to drive with Top Gear Driving School.I would reccommend them as I was impressed with the flexibility and the availability for the driving lessons as they were willing to fit me in at my request.During my lessons I found it to be calm and relaxing which to me are the key things when trying to learn to drive!I have tried other driving instructors before but found top gear''s methods the best.
